Up for sale is a 1929 Ford Woody Wagon. We purchased it from a surf shop owner in August, 2002, who used the vehicle for advertising. We used the car in local parades and for advertising for a restaurant. It has never been driven any substantial distance since we have owned it - less than 20 miles total Vehicle mileage from odometer (picture) is 59,457. This vehicle is not currently running, has been sitting in storage, and was last run approximately 6 years ago (only engine problem at we had at that time was an oil leak). During the last 9 years of storage, the vehicle sat outside for a 15 month period - has otherwise been garage kept. We have the ignition key but no manual. The pictures have been taken to identify the condition of everything related to it, and we have been able to upload 24 pictures of the inside and outside of the vehicle as possible so that you know what you are bidding on. We have more pictures available. There is tire rot on the front driver and front passenger sides. The canvas window covers snap onto the windows, as pictured. I have the 4 sides of canvas snap-on pieces that are in great shape - all are pictured. They are waterproof on one side and fabric on inside of this canvas material. We have not yet located the 5th piece for the rear window area but will continue searching - no guarantees. Some scrapes on black painted areas aer available in additional pictures, plus a dent in driver side wheel well is shown. Front yellow paint around engine in great shape. The four spring clasps that hold the front engine cover panels down are all in great shape - one is pictured. The wood is in good condition except back drop gate (picture). A good sanding and varnishing needed on all wood. The back side of the back vinyl seat is ripped on top, and the stuffing from inside is old and more than half missing. Front seats are covered in a velour type fabric; the back vertical portion of the seat folds forward flat against the actual seat portion. Pictures of the underside of the car have been included, in addition to those of each side of the engine. Rubber exterior roof top has no holes or rips that we could find anywhere. We do not know what cylinder engine this vehicle has; we know nothing about engines. This vehicle is being sold as is - with no warranty, expressed written or implied. Serious bidders only, please.
