Thank you for looking at our rare Geo Metro convertible. The car, for 21 years old, is in great shape. Lots of these turn into rust buckets, but this one was stored in the winter, and that's why the body is in such great shape. It's automatic with an AM/FM radio. These cars are known to get close to 50 MPG, because they're only a 3 cylinder. The top is black, and goes up and down fine. The rear window is fine, but there is one small rip on the top that was fixed. This car only has 64,000 miles but will need some mechanical repair. Even though it's very drivable and it rides great, it will need, in the near future, a head gasket. That is a very minor repair on this vehicle considering that the engine is so small. The transmission shifts from 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gear manually only. When you put the car in drive and take off, it stays in 3rd gear. According to the mechanic, if you change the fluid and filter with a better pressure going through the transmission it could fix it. You could also try fixing/replacing the module. There's no slippage in the transmission, and we have not done anything to try to fix it. We're leaving that for the new owner who can fix it properly so that they don't have to correct someone else attempting to make it right. We would like the car paid for within 3 days, either by cash or wire transfer. We would like the car picked up from our lot within 7 days of auction ending. There will be a $100 paperwork fee added on to the final sale price of the vehicle. If you need a 30 Day Tag it’s $18.50. If we need to transfer your title (and not hand you your title) we will also have to collect the tax in your county in you live in one of the following states: Arizona, California, Florida, Indiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, South Carolina or Washington. We will not pay any shipping fees, but we would be glad to assist your shipper in picking up your vehicle.
