Up for sale is a very attractive 1974 Mercedes 450 SLC. This runs and drives extremely smooth, it does not smoke or leak any fluids. The engine seems very tight as does the transmission. The interior is in very nice condition, the carpet, seats, rear bench are all in great shape. There are some cracks in the dash pad, they are small but notable. There is a custom dash mat. The convertible top and frame are in like new condition with no blemishes at all The hard top is also in excellent condition with one small ding in the front by the trim piece. The glass is in excellent condition thru-out. The body is in very nice condition. The black paint shines like you would expect but does have a couple of very slight dings, one at the edge of the hood and another below thew trunk, but are not very noticable. There is no rust on this car anywhere and the undercarriage and frame are straight and clean. The engine compartment is clean and fully intact. This car appears to be missing nothing. It is ready to go. The mileage on the odometer reads 22384 and I am certain that it is not original and it does have a 6 digit odometer. The speedometer and odometer are in good working order, so I must clearly state that the true miles are unknown. The car runs out and drives like one would expect from a Mercedes Benz. It is surprisingly quick, responsive and handles very well. The tires are ok but could be replaced. Brakes, steering and all other electrical and mechanical components are in good working and functioning properly. The a/c blows cold, the heater blows hot. I am not all that familiar with these cars and am describing it the best I can. I recieved the car in a trade and have no need for it. If I was into these cars, I would think this is one to get.
