If you are tired of high gas prices, then this is the car for you! This 1999 Jetta GL TDI 1.9L gets 45-55 MPG. I am the 2nd owner of the vehicle & have owned it for the past 8 years. This car has been well kept and runs great. The engine starts right up & has lots of pep. Both interior & exterior have been well maintained. Cold AC, manual transmission, 15" alloy wheels, power locks, manual windows, new headliner, full size spare tire with jack & OEM bra. Car comes with owners manual & 2 keys. This car has never been smoked in. Tires have plenty of tread life. Timing belt was replaced in 2005 (73,437 miles). Oil pan was replaced in 2008. Front brakes & rotors replaced in 2008 (114,252 miles). Rear brakes were replaced in 2010 (137,957 miles). I have kept all major of the services records for the car & can provide them if wanted. Cons: Check Engine light just came on with code P0380 - local dealership said it can be fixed for $272. The original shocks are still on the car & may need to be replaced. Cup holder is missing.
