I am selling this TR6 for a gentleman who is 87 and no longer wants to drive it. This car was restored by me from 2000 to 2002 and since then has been driven very little. Garage kept, waxed and cared for. car was completely disassembled, body and paint $4500 Beautiful Pimento Red. All new suspension components front and rear, shocks springs bushings ball joints, tie rods, New Trunnions. Gas shocks in Front and gas shock conversion in rear. New Braking system, hoses, wheel cylinders, calipers, pads , shoes, master cylinder, booster etc. Engine Rebuild, bored .020, new pistons, fast road cam, lifters new rocker assembly, shaved head, new valves, guides, seals, springs, timing gears and chain. Drive Line resurface flywheel, new Sachs Pressure plate, disc and t/o bearing. All new u-joints in drive shaft and axles. New clutch master and slave cylinders. Transmission Rebuild complete with new seals. New cross shaft, fork and bushings. New trans mounts. Carbs Rebuilt, new fuel pump, lines, fuel sending unit. New alternator, starter, water pump, recored radiator, new hoses etc. Original Bumpers rechromed Reconditioned convertible top frame fitted with an original style top with reflective stripe and zip out back window. New convertible top boot cover. New windshield, rubber and trim strip, sunvisors and brackets. All new interior, door panels, carpet, dash pieces, wood dash. Seats completely rebuilt with new foams and covers. Brand New Panasports with new tires. As you can see, a lot of money went into this restoration and I am sure I am forgetting some things since it has been over 10 years since I saw this car last. Currently the TR6 is here in my garage in Florida. Because it sat undriven for a while, the fuel went bad and the owner wanted me to get it running again. That has been done and she runs fine. I will be happy to answer any questions. Also, if upon inspection, the winng bidder is not satisfied with the car, he will not be obligated to puchase it and it will be offered to the 2nd place bidder. This is as fair as I can be.
