Really nice old 1984 Honda XL100. 903 orig miles. Great for camping, kids trail bike, around town fun. This one has probably not been used off road or ever been laid over. Original everything end to end. No tears in seat, etc. Mostly one owner. I bought it from the second owner who only had it a short period of time and didnt use it (I think he got it from an auction of some kind). Unfortunately, it had been sitting parked for a long time in the garage with the original owner. The fuel went bad in the tank and carb so bad that they needed replacing (the gunk and corrosion from the 20+ year old gas was nasty). I put on a new carb, and was able to locate a used 84 XR100 tank with some small dings and minor corrosion inside. Not a perfect tank, but I used good PPG single stage "Concept" product and got a nice color match. I put on a new carb as well. I rode it around the neighborhood last summer a few times with a smile. Not very fast, but runs really quiet and shifts tight. No leaks. If a person could track down a NOS tank (good luck), this bike would be a total gem. As it is, it looks very nice and will run nice and quiet around the trail, campground or neighborhood. Clear title and manual included. Local pick-up in Alpena MI.
