There is simply not a better 2004 Jaguar XJ8 out there. This beautiful car will be sold to the high bidder or whovever meets the Buy It Now price, and that will be one lucky person. You can check my feedback to see how the cars I've sold on eBay have exceeded the buyer's expectations. This one will do the same. You can buy other XJ8's like mine that are on eBay for $15,000 to $18,000 from a dealer, or get this one for thousands less. I usually keep a car only for a few years, but this one has been so reliable that I've owned it for almost 5 years. The only reason I'm selling it is because I just bought a 2008 XK with fewer miles on eBay. It is the same gorgeous color as this one. My 2004 XJ8 has nothing - NOTHING - wrong with it. The exterior of this one is Indigo Blue with Champagne (light tan) interior. I am the second owner. The car has always been kept in the garage, both at home and work. I park it far away from everyone else in the parking lot. The pictures tell the story, but I have lots more that you can see if you'd like. Just contact me. Everything works on this car. It starts, rides, shifts, accelerates, and stops perfectly. All lights work - all power equipment works. I have changed the oil every 5,000 miles. I never have to add oil between changes. It doesn't leak a drop of anything. As things have worn out I have changed them. It has fairly new tires with just over 3,000 miles on them. They are Yokohma Advan S4 P245/50R-18 unidirectional tires. They are warranted to last 60,000 miles so that's one concern you won't have. It has always passed safety and emissions inspections. There are no cracks in the wood, rips in the leather, or anything like that. The alloy wheels have no curb rash. Just look at the pictures to see. I wanted this car to be as perfect as I could get it before it sold. It's been washed and waxed, has over a half tank of gas, and is ready to go. I would suggest you come see the car (at my home in the Dallas area) if you can. And - I would suggest you pick up the car and drive it home rather than risk any damage a shipper could cause. I have all the service receipts (oil changes, tires, battery, etc.) and will send those along with the car. I have never had an accident with this car, and the previous owner did not. My wife and I have taken many long trips in it and we always averaged over 28 miles per gallon on the highway. I get about 25 miles per gallon driving to work in the city. The mileage you get on a full size car like this is nothing short of fantastic, but lot of that is because the body is aluminum, not steel. That was the nicest surprise I had when I got this car, that it’ll go forever on a tank of gas. I would urge you to see this car yourself, or if that’s not possible, get an inspection service to look at it and test it. They will see how perfect it is.
