She started out as a stock bike – we purchased her from the second owner who basically bought it a year ago and put very few miles on her. The previous owner had her tucked away in the basement for a few decades – she only has 3,300 original miles!!! She now runs perfectly – starts right-up and revs strong through entire RPM range and through all 5 gears without any clutch slippage or break-up. We are guessing that this bike probably gets close to 70 MPG. As you can see from the photos (on our website), the bike was fully disassembled to the frame - everything has been cleaned and repainted. In addition, the newly painted tank / tail-piece / fender have several coats of gloss urethane clear. More (progress) photos can be seen on our website and facebook page (noted below). We will include a new/black bar-end mirror with the bike; however, we decided not to cut the new grips to install it in case the new Owner prefers more standard mirrors. · BBR signature custom steel tail-piece (fabricated in-house) · minimized front fender · custom fabricated exhaust system · new ignition points and condenser · new 6V battery (smaller) and yes, she has a 6V electrical system and charges perfectly · new cateye tail/brake light· titanium exhaust header wrap · relocated all electricals under the seat · new front and rear Michelin Gazelle tires · new pod filter / rebuilt carburetor with new upgraded main jet sized for the POD filter and the new exhaust system · custom fabricated license plate holder · new clubman bars · new vintage rubber grips· painted entire frame / engine / wheels · all unnecessary tabs cut off frame and ground smooth · new fork seals and fork oil · new engine oil · maintained the original side stand and center stand As noted above, the bike has been rejetted for the new intake/exhaust set-up. You can listen to the bike run on the YouTube video linked on our webpage (www.barebonerides.com/the-bikes … there is also a walk-around YouTube video, and a couple videos of the bike going through the gears). She sounds pretty tough ... well, as tough as a four stroke 125 can sound – take a listen on the video. We also want to point out that this is a small bike – if you are a big person (say over 5’-10” and weigh in excess of 200 lbs or so), we would not recommend this bike for you – she’s a tough ol’ Honda and can take a lot but, we just want folks to be realistic about this ride. Feel free to contact us with any questions. Please understand that this bike was not built to be a show bike, it was created to be a fun, one-off, custom/vintage daily rider and she is a lot of fun to ride. We have been overwhelmed at the attention this little bike draws – when you pull up anywhere on her, people just can’t get over how cool this little red ride looks – the appeal is definitely there! So, Cheri-Bella (as named by one of the BBR fans), will make her new Owner very happy – and will brings lots of attention and turn lots of heads at any bike show/ride/event or at the local coffee shop on a Saturday morning. She would also look right at home doing laps at a vintage race day (she was built as a tribute to the old school small cc road/track racers from back in the day)! Check out the shop and our perspective on custom rides/builds at www.barebonerides.com ... feel free to follow our builds by "Like"ing our facebook page at www.facebook.com/barebonerides ... and you can see more photos of this bike on both the website and our facebook page. Please keep in mind this bike is over 35 years old and, in our opinion, is best suited for someone that knows bikes and knows how to wrench on them ... as she will need normal maintenance like any old-school ride. She is definitely a reliable ride and is a daily runner for sure. She has a clean Florida Title. We ask that you contact us prior to bidding if you have less than 10 positive feedback scores or a questionable feedback score/rating. We sincerely appreciate your time in checking out this bike … and if she is not for you, as always we wish you much luck on your search for that bike with your name on it … it is out there! Keep an eye out for our next build – maybe that will be the one for you! PAYMENT: A $100.00 DEPOSIT via PayPal is due upon winning the auction (see "Payment" tab for payment terms/requirements). The balance is due in full within 7 days after the auction has ended. SHIPPING: THIS AUCTION IS FOR A LOCAL PICK UP ONLY FOR THIS MOTORCYCLE. Please note that the buyer will be responsible for all shipping requirements from our shop in Merritt Island, Florida. We can help get the bike to a shipping company as long as the shipper is within 50 miles of Merritt Island, FL.
