1981 Honda CB 750K , Mileage Reads 12k Plus. So here is the story behind the bike! I am a biker, been ridding for 30 plus years, And I found this one sitting at a vehicle impound auction here in Seattle. I was able to talk to the guy that owned it prior to the auction and he said that he had parked it in a No Parking Zone Of The Univercity Of Washington Campus And Went To A Colleage Party.He came back to it and road it 50 feet and ran out of gas, So the bike was parked over night in a free to park from 9PM Til 5 Am Spot. The guy came back to gert the bike at 5:30 AM and it had been impounded. Need less to say he did not have the cash to get the bike out of impound I gave it a good look over and found that the bike was in great shape even with it being 30 years old. The Auction started and I won the the bid. I was going to put it on Craigs List for resale and then figuired there may be some one on Ebay That wants this thing more then some one here in Seattle. So the run down on the bike go's like this. Rubber is great on both front and back, The Brakes Are In Good Working Order, Speedo Works, The Seat Is Orginal Condition, No Rips Or Tears, Chrome Rear Fender, No Dents In The Tank. Scuff On The Under Side Of The Right Side Front Exhaust Side Covers Are In Tack, And It Even Has The Factory Tool Bag With Tools. All Lights Of The Lights Work, Has The Center Stand And Side Kick Stand Due to the guy running the bike out of gas and sucking the particles out of the gas tank and into the carb, I removed and the carbs not once, but 3 times and tore into them to clean them out, each time the bike would run a little better, but I have not got it to perfection, It is still starving for fuel and cutting out after 5k RPM's . So, 1, Either the diaphrams needs to be replaced or, 2. The carbs need a complete rebuild, Or 3 you need to just replace the carbs with a good working set. If I pour fuel into the carbs or shoot them with starting fluid while it is running, the bike with smooth out and run great, thus the carb is what I feel is the issue Bottom Line, The Bike Runs, Just Porly at this point, Quick Fix For The Right Person So On To The Final Paper Work And Sale Of This Fine Bike. Here In Washington State You Can Buy Vehicles From Impound Auctions And Re-sell With the same paper work When You Buy Any Vehicle From Auction, You The Buyer Are Given What Is Called A, "AVR" AVR Stands For Abandoned Vehicle Report And Is In Lew Of Title. You Bring the AVR TO The Licensing Department And They Issue You A Registration And The Title Comes In The Male With 15 To 30 Days. You Can Sell The Vehicle As Long As You Do And Provide The Following To The New Buyer Or Owner. Provide The Original AVR, Provide A Hand Written Bill Of Sale I will Take It One Step Further And Make Sure To Provide A Noterized Bill Of Sale For You You Can Loose The Bill Of Sale But Do Not Loose The AVR As It Takes Up To 2 Weeks To Get A Copy Of It And It Cost Me A Extra $50.00 To Get It There are several online shipping companies and I will do my best to help you locate one, or provide them on.
