For Sale a 1996 F350 Dually Crew Cab, this truck has the 7.3 Powerstroke with the ZF 5 speed with 4.10 gears. There are 289,929 miles on the truck but has been well maintained, I bought this truck from a business in Iowa 2 years ago, the business used this truck to haul fuel tanks so the miles are mainly highway miles. I have used the truck to haul a 30ft snowmobile trailer to the UP and it does well. There is rust finally starting on the front fenders (see pictures) other than that the body is rust free, the front bumper is dented (and pushed in) on the passenger side and so its pulled out on the drivers side. The rear bumper is rusted (see picture), the wheel simulators are rusted up front (see pictures), there are paint chips in the dually fenders as well as a cut in the passenger side (see picture). Motor wise the truck runs well for 290,000 miles, I haven noticed any leaks from the truck and i do watch for them. When its real cold (0-10deg) the truck will start but hard if not plugged in, the truck does blow some white smoke when started but clears right up. The inside of the truck is clean for it's age (could use a little cleaning) the drivers seat doesnt tilt back (never has since I've had it), no major rips in the seat overall in good shape. I have replaced several things over the last year and are as follows - 4in turbo back exhaust (2 years ago) superchips tuner (always kept on tow) Air Intake (2 years ago) 2 new batteries (last month) New fuel pump and lines to filter bowl (last summer) New injector O-rings (last summer) HPOP rebuilt (last summer) New IPR valve (last summer) New Melling LPOP (last summer) New Solid Flywheel and Luk Clutch (last winter) Brand New Firestone Tires and Alignment (last winter) these have less than 2,000 miles on them. 17in fold down rear TV (front tv in picture not included) you will need one to run the rear tv. Brake Controller Another know issue I forgot, the drivers door power lock works but makes a loud noise when unlocked with the flob. I dont know if there is plastic gears in the lock cylinder and its bad? All the power windows work, the passenger rear door switch doesnt, the window will roll up and down from the drivers switch. Again the truck runs well for the miles and looks good for it age, please review all pictures and ask any questions you may have. We just returned for the UP last Monday and the truck still got 14mpg pulling a 30ft trailer at 65-70mph. I've tried to do my best on describing the truck for sale, please keep in mind the truck is a 1996 with 290,000 miles. I've had several 7.3's and this doesnt scare me at all, Theres no where I wouldnt drive this truck but it's not perfect and could use a little work. If you have any questions please call 309-363-3762
