Vehicle Detail

No Reserve ! Super Clean ! This is the one ! Hey Leno check this thing out ! Only 3347. original miles, Bike and tires ( all Original except the Gold plated chain & new air cleaners ). This is really the greatest bike ever, and does look better in person ! I have a stack of receipts totaling $2691.47. The brakes are fine but I did buy the master cylinder and front brake caliper rebuild kits, they are pictured in the picture with the shop manual to show you how to doing everything in steps 1-2-3. The CB500T is the only engine I know of that uses torsion bars instead of valve springs ( Beside the Honda formula 1 race torsion bar engine which by the way has won the Indy 500 for the last 10 Years ) The bike has a complete tool kit, plus a owners manual. The people who owned this bike before me had driven it one season before storing it inside. We had the crabs cleaned ( completely disassembled and the carburetor body soaked in cleaner for a week, and blown out with air everyday ) as well as a complete tuned up. The bike shifted through the gears smoothly and was very responsive to the throttle. The CB500T is the only Honda that Soichiro Honda designed by himself, and was a big part of the 1,000,000 Honda ever made celebration because it was the model that was actually throttled off the assembly line by non-other then a smiling Soichiro Honda himself. I have both of the original mirror's for the bike and they are perfect. This is the cleanest CB500T I ever seen, I was going to polish the engine case's and lower fork legs but I wanted to leave it original ( the cost of polishing is about $ 200.00 to $270.00 depending who you use, I do have a phone # for a guy who is inexpensive and good and you mail to him and he mails it back to you. ) I have almost $6,000.00 invested, and yes the same key works all the locks, gas tank, seat, and ignition. Almost all parts on the bike look brand new, and if you've ever let one get away now is your chance, it's priced less than a Honda mini bike. One final note, this is a beautiful vintage motorcycle ( 37 year's old ) but if things get tough you can use it for basic transportation, it will curse 80 miles per hour and do a 103 miles per hour top end with you on it looking like million bucks, ( which is another good point everything and everybody will look better setting on this bike ). This is the best looking Honda ever made, you literally can't take your eyes off of it when your in the same room. The bike will stop on a dime while handling like dream, not to mention that it is a Honda that will last forever ( with the smallest amount of care ) . Everyone that has ever seen this bike has said wow ! I'll never be able to replace it. Stay tough. Owner ill
