This is a 1964 Plymouth Fury hardtop from South Carolina. It has the original, numbers matching 318 ploy, 727 trans, 83/4 rear. The pictures give a very accurate representation of the condition of the vehicle. The car is exceptionally straight and has a very solid, overall, body. There is some bubbling in a couple of spots around the rear wheel lips. Otherwise, the quarters are very good. The rockers are rock solid as is the trunk, fenders, doors, and roof. The hood has quite a bit of surface rust. The frame sections and cross members are amazingly clean and straight! They retain the original undercoating and paint. Being from South Carolina, it has never been exposed to the ravages of salt or snow. The cowl / firewall area is solid and very clean. With the exception of the seats, which are excellent, the interior is in need of complete restoration. The floors will need to be replaced as well. Replacement floor pans are available for $50.00 a side, on ebay. The motor and trans functioned well when parked 2 years ago. The gas tank has been removed since then and the car has not been started. I have a replacement tank to go with the car. The glass is all excellent as is the exterior trim. I have also collected a lot of extra trim and miscellaneous parts that go with the car. I do not have the side trim (spears). This is a great foundation for a project! You would be hard pressed to find a straighter example. It is in need of a complete restoration but should clean up very nicely! Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. I have done everything that I possibly can, to avoid giving it up, but like so many people, I am struggling financially and my family needs to come first.
