You are bidding on a 1983 Mercedes 300 TD Turbo Diesel wagon. This is a much beloved family truckster that I have to let go because I moved and no longer have the space for it. The car has been inspected and everything is in working conditions. A great car for cruising around town in style or long trips where 25+ MPG is a plus!! There is some body rust but the frame is in good shape and it is in excellent mechanical shape. A lot of people list this model as “extremely rare” but this one truly is. It has a limited addition European package which includes Dark Blue paint (DB332), European style square headlights, a genuine teak E. Nardi steering wheel and third row jump seat. I’ve seen a lot of 300TD’s but never any this color. It is truly a handsome, stately wagon. This car has only 176K miles, a baby for a 1983 Mercedes 123 diesel which are known to go at least 500,000 miles. Tires have less than 5k miles on them and have original alloy rims. Interior Overall, the interior has very little wear and is very clean. Drivers seat is torn and there is some discoloration in the rear carpeting. Dash is in great shape, no cracks. Wood is in good shape, some cracks in the varnish but no peeling. The sunroof that functions perfectly!! After market radio, Alpine Am/FM cassette. Mechanical Drives great and starts right up! Never had a major mechanical failure, only upkeep from normal wear and tare. I had the transmission replaced less than 1K miles ago because it was starting to slip. Vacuum system works well, No vacuum leaks anywhere!! All related items, operated by vacuum, work as they should. Power windows work properly. Vents all blow air, including the center vents. Comes with the original first aid kit, tool kit and manuals.
