Original California black plate 1956 Oldsmobile 88. What a great find, never cut up or altered in any way. 79,346 original miles, 324 V-8 engine with 2bbl carburator. Runs and drive great at all speeds, drives straight with no white or blue engine smoke. Has older bias ply tires for that original look with no leaks or dry rot. Fresh re-built generator. Head lights, brake lights and signals work as they should. Body is solid with no signs of metal repair or patch work, looks to have been re-painted many years ago in it's original matching color codes, average drivers quality refinish. Bumpers are solid and show well for local cruise nights but will have to be re-chromed for show quality. Floors and frame are rock solid with no repairs needed. Trunk floor and spare well are also solid and need no repairs. All glass is clear and cloud free but drivers door glass has a crack. All interior window cranks work well with great chrome. Carpet, seat covers and door seals show very well and must have been re-placed at some point in time, minor stains on seat covers. Head liner has a few small holes but comes with a new re-placement head liner not yet installed. Beautiful dash with two-tone paint, crack free lenses and great chrome. Please note, this car has not been to a detail shop for clean up, no under coating to hide repairs or rust, what you see is a rust and rot free car that has not been messed with.
