This is a 2001 Chevrolet S-10 Pickup, with LESS THAN 72,000 original Highway Miles, not stop and go city miles. The truck runs and drives perfect. No issues (MECHANICAL OR STRUCTURAL) that we are aware of PERIOD! This truck has been well taken care of since new, always garaged and maintained. Non Smoker owned, and no pets inside. Has had Line-X spray in bed liner installed, and new heavy duty tow package professionally installed as well. Has only pulled small utility trailer with (2) 4 wheelers on it. Nothing heavy. This truck is equipped with the 2.2 Litre 4 cylinder engine, with K&N Cold air intake system and air filter extracting out better performance and gas mileage new last year. We average 24 mpg in town and close to 30 mpg on the highway. When pulling the 4 wheelers on the highway it still averaged 25 mpg. Great gas mileage for these harsh economic times. Transmission is 4 speed Automatic, operates perfect, no slippage, no leaks, runs strong. Engine is still like new, does not use a drop of oil, does not smoke, and has plenty of power for the 4 cylinder model. Pulls the utility trailer with the 2 4-wheelers on it with no problems. Current tags and inspection good for another 19 months. I recently replaced the catalytic converter and O2 sensor as well as engine light came on saying 1 or both of them needed to be replaced, so I replaced them both, and what a difference in power afterwards. Was like a new truck. I have also just installed new Firestone A/T m/s tires. Tires have less than 1500 miles on them and still have 95% tread left. New front brake lifetime pads just installed less than 1500 miles ago as well as new battery, complete new tune-up done at good year(spark plugs, wires, etc.), new starter, & new thermostat and coolant flushed. A/C blows ice cold, and heater will roast you like a thanksgiving turkey. Paint is still shiny, interior is near perfect, no rips or tears in seats, no cracks in dash, no stains in seats or floors. As close to a new truck as you can get for the year. There are a few minor blemishes but nothing major, just everyday driving stuff. I will try to show everything in pics. Just want you to know, Ed On Jan-20-12 at 13:36:57 PST, seller added the following information: A quick update for all of you looking and or bidding. I just noticed yesterday a leak from what looked like a transmission cooling line so I took it to local shop and found out a seal was leaking, they fixed that and also told me a couple other things that needed to be replaced and fixed before long. The front passenger brake line was collapsing and causing the truck to pull when you hit the brakes, so I had them replace that also, they also checked calipers and rotors and said they were both fine. After replacing line they bled whole system and cleaned up everything real good. But they said alignment is starting to go out and will need correcting eventually, as I did not fix that as the other 2 items cost me 150 dollars as it is. The alignment is only like 50 bucks if you want it fixed, but because of the alignment issue I had them rotate the new tires also just as a precaution.
