Up for sale is my 1962 Mercedes 220s "Finny" with only 88xxx miles. Finny was the term coined for the fin-tail design of the rear of car, making it a sought after distinction, and harder to find. This vehicle is one of two that were owned by a gentleman in Boise. Both were project cars that received varying degrees of attention, Prior to his purchase they were parked for over four years. I purchased the car hoping to have the time and resources to restore it. However, I have neither. Before it was "parked" the motor had been gone through and the car ran well. It now suffers from those fuel related issues of a car being parked that long. As the photos show there is still plenty of work to be done, but the project is well under way. All the chrome is in good shape and much of it has already been replaced. New red leather door panels are included and ready to install. The Body is in remarkably good shape, I started buffing out the hood and it was amazing to see the luster of color and shine that came back.
