Here we have a 1968 Scout 800, a bit of an oddball, its a right hand drive, two wheel drive, automatic, Scout, which is pretty rare. The Scout has a clean PA. title, vin Scout 800 O 711907 G299434 , not sure what the "O" is for.The Scout was stored for many years, and the body is very good, overall has very little rust, and seems to be almost completely original. It has a 152 four cylinder, with an automatic,a Borg, Warner,I think.It shows 21,145 miles, and may be original, but I have no proof of it. It has emissions equipment, which seems odd for a 1968, but it all looks factory. I do not know the mechanical condition, the engine does turn, but Im sure it hasnt run in years. Did not have any keys for it, can supply another switch with a key. The body has some dents, mostly the left front fender, and the right front fender and rocker, and a little in the upper right quarter panel. The header grille panel has damage, a better one is included. It is a bit of a project, the roof is on the vehicle, with a few bolts, the seats are just sitting in the vehicle. The roof has damage at the rear, right side, but can be straightened out, and the roof otherwise is decent, also comes with the top hatch, not attached. The Scout comes with some extra door window regulators, the right side door is apart, the glass is just sitting in the door, so it needs to be re- assembled. One hood hinge is broken, a spare will come with the Scout. Scout has two grey bucket seats in it, I have two Black bench seats, buyer can choose one of those if desired. Floors have some surface rust, but are solid, it does have some rust in the bed, on the left side at the floor seam. Body mounts all look solid, inner fenders also look great. Overall, a rare Scout with an exeptional body to restore or use as desired. Scout is for sale AS-IS, WHERE-IS, delivery may be available for a fee, contact seller.
