Vehicle Detail

1967 was one of the last years of the vintage body style for the Travelall. This 2wd Travelall "custom" is one of a kind. It has 150K miles on the on the 304 v8 and approximately 5k on a rebuilt (by IH only North) upgraded full synchro T-19 close 4-speed manual transmission. They also resurfaced the flywheel, a new clutch, changed the dana 44 diff to 4.11 gears and replaced the posi traction clutch packs. The car is a daily driver and is ready to drive anywhere. Front to back I'll try to list all the features - stock and aftermarket in the last 6k miles. Halogen headlights Factory oversized radiator upgrade has been boiled out and refinished Water pump has been replaced as well as all hoses, both belts New tie rods New Battery Pertronics breakerless ignition and coil Stock oil bath air cleaner Stock coolant filter - yep you read that right Stock bumper jack in stock mount in the engine compartment Stock rebuilt holley carburetor New dual exhaust with flowmasters New starter New front shocks New hydraulic clutch slave cylinder New fuel pumps - one electric, one mechanical Stainless steel fuel fill down tubes Two fuel tanks - one 15 gallon one 11 gallon. The 15 was removed, boiled out and coated with por-15 tank coating. Fuel sender replaced. Mechanical tank switchover valve rebuilt. Stock oversized "Arctic" Heater upgrade. 2-speed windshield wipers Am/Fm stereo was "passively" installed. This car is a factory radio delete and I have the original delete panel. No holes cut in the doors! Tachometer "Cow" horn. Yes the stock horn works as well. A custom single drive shaft was built to replace the two shaft stock system. All four passenger doors have had the window felt guides and seals replaced. (That was fun) This vehicle has stock 3/4 ton spring upgrade Air shocks 12" rear drums hve been resurfaced, new brake cylinders and shoes. Custom frame mounted tow hitch with 2" receiver Wired for 7-pin Pollock and 5-pin Techonsha Voyager brake controller Fold down back door with electric powered window It has stainless steel IH dog dish hub caps and white wide wall bias ply tires. There are a few rust spots that are shown in the pictures. The floors are solid and the frame has the original undercoat. The left quater panel and tailgate paint is faded and dry. Comes with the original line setting ticket, a new reprint of the IH manual($110), replacement gauge cluster, and a few other spares, filters etc. I have a $3K receipt from IH only for the transmission & reear end work, a $750 receipt for the 2.5" stainless exhaust, $450 for the tires, and a stuffed folder of receipts for the rest. My wife drives it to work and we used to take it to vintage trailer rally's with our Airstream. We don't do much of the rally stuff anymore and it is time for a new project. Everything works. I have an A/C pump bracket with alternator, an offset gear shift for under dash (vintage air) a/c, a power steering pump, a bunch of old parts - tie rods, wheel cylinders, brakes shoes, slave cylinder etc. There is a spare electric fuel pump ( I use the electric to prime the carb before starting when the car sits for more than a week). I have a set of "Dri-Power" vintage fender covers and a drop gooseneck/ Valley load leveling hitch and 2" ball. No leveling bars. There is also a set of clamp style fender mirrors. I have an exel file of maintenance records and part numbers. I forgot to mention that it has a exact factory replacement reman Holley carburetor. The original metering plate was warped. On Jan-07-12 at 12:47:14 PST, seller added the following information: Here is a link to down loadable videos of my wife starting and driving the car. The car is dead cold and has been sitting for a week. I primed the carb with the electric fuel pump prior to starting. http://www.sendspace.com/filegroup/4dgl27Na86vbQHiyYtryL3sfXN%2FKyn1P On Jan-07-12 at 19:21:54 PST, seller added the following information: The vehicle is advertised locally on Craigslist and the auction will be ended early if I have a local buyer before the reserve is met.
