3rd owner purchased this Riviera from a GM dealer while in Florida. As the history was told to me by the dealership; the car was the owners personal car (92-96), mainly spending time in the South for winter months. The condition of the body is a witness to this. Subsequently the car was used by the dealership as the loaner car for Buick and Cadillac owners who were having their cars serviced. This Rivy was serviced by the dealership and anything it needed it got. All the injectors were replaced in 2001 by the dealer when the car started acting up. I put a new ignition control module in the car when the orange idiot light came on just over a year ago, problem resolved. Exceptionally clean and 97% rust free southern Rivy for 19yrs old. Registered 3rd owner, 25 points out of 25 point auto check. Runs and drives out great. Tranny shifts fine, does not slip. Front end just aligned after new struts and one ball joint replaced (other front end parts checked by mechanic) Interior exceptionally fine shape for being 19 years old. Leather cleaned and treated yearly, the drivers seat naturally the most ware. Headliner not sagging, replaced 5 years ago, in exceptional condition as well. Firestone 50k tires, with about 20k used. Brakes good, exhaust good, new catalytic convertor and muffler/tailpipe two years old. This car has been mechanically maintained as a GM dealership car (Alabama) as well by private owner. It has been babied and a cream puff, the color to match. The landau top was a trade off from the Florida sun. Body, frame, undercarriage exceptionally solid and nearly rust free, top took the heat. New NOS Chamois top from Simco ordered for Spring, not included in this auction (inquire) Factory alarm system, works fine. Perfect candidate for future collector status being all original and solid solid solid. Have plenty of pics to show condition of car, and will answer any questions.
