1979 THUNDERBIRD TOWN LANDAU 54K MI BEAUTY - 351 CID 5.8L V8 We take great pride in presenting for your kind consideration a superb original example of the last collectible Thunderbird, a loaded Town Landau model, featuring original Polar White paintwork complimented by factory Gold pinstripes. A stainless steel insert is fitted to the Crown Vic inspired roof treatment, which sports original Gold vinyl trim. The Town Landau logo is discreetly etched into quarter windows. The split bench Gold velour interior has a six-way power seat on the driver side, tilt wheel, power windows, power door locks, power trunk release, and signal seeking Town and Country AM-FM stereo with power antenna. Dual remote racing mirrors and factory turbine styled wheels complete the impressive option package. Air conditioning has been retro-fitted to use new R-134 freon and blows cold. Heater works fine as well. On December 16th a comprehensive tune-up was performed, including replacing spark plugs, distributor cap, rotor, and wire set - also it had oil changed and new filter. Ready to drive anywhere. California license plates are valid to November 2012 and go with. I want to mention that although not noticeable in pix, the original pin striping has flaws, e.g., faded areas which could be re-freshened - I chose not to do so in order that new owner could see that no re-painting whatsoever has occurred. If buyer has no access to a quality pin striper, I can have that task done for you at nominal cost. Lastly, there is one center cap missing in photographs but I located a brand new one and it is on the car now.
