Hi, and thank you for visiting our auction page. We are proudly selling this beautiful, classic vehicle, a 1940 Chevy 4-Door. This is classic beauty at its finest. If you are looking for a car that’s a turn key and go operation, this is the one. It runs as it should run and drive 100%. We purchased this car from the mechanic that serviced the car for the former owner, an older gentleman that has now passed. The car is in top notch shape but not a frame off restoration, just very original with a paint job done 10 or 15 years ago. When it was painted they replaced the bumpers. The headliner is fine, and it is believed to be original like much of the car. The underneath is clean, as seen in the pictures. The clutch is newer, and the Chevy also has a rebuilt alternator and carburetor. Everything works, including the heat. The miles are actual and the title is clear. This four-door is really a nice car. It rides well and steers and shifts excellently. The brakes are fine. We sell a lot of our cars before the auction is over because we have it for sale locally too. We can cancel auction up to 12 hours before ending, so if you would like to beat the crowd in the end, we are open to your offers and trades. We just want to place this antique car in the right hands that will take care of it and enjoy it like the man that once had it and babied it for many years of its life. We try to describe the cars the best we can and with the Photobucket picture package, you can see every inch of car at many different angles to really get a good feeling for the car you may want to bid on to enjoy possibly many memories of the past. This is an as-is vehicle, which means that once you buy it, you own it with all faults (known or unknown). We encourage all bidders to stop out, personally examine the car and drive it for themselves. If you can’t personally make it out to check out this vehicle, simply find a local mechanic to look at the vehicle and give you a personal report on the condition. We would like the car paid for within 3 days, either by cash or wire transfer. We would like the car picked up from our lot within 7 days of auction ending. There will be a $100 paperwork fee added on to the final sale price of the vehicle. If you need a 30 Day Tag it’s $18.50. If we need to transfer your title (and not hand you your title) we may also have to collect the tax in your county. We will not pay any shipping fees, but we would be glad to assist your shipper in picking up your vehicle.
