Vehicle Detail
I am listing for sale my 1977 Chrysler New Yorker 4 door Sedan. This vehicle is automatic and I believe fully loaded for it's time to include power seats, windows, brakes, steering, telescopic, tilt steering wheel, cruise, power mirrors and antenna, automatic transmission and best of all a 440 motor. The car was originally from rural Ohio of which I purchased from the Grandson of the original owner about 5 years ago. I believe the car is mostly original but was re-painted at some point. It was also represented that the mileage is original and based on the wear and tear of the car. I do feel it is accurate. Upon my purchase, I did substantial work to the car with the intent of a total restoration. I am a car collector and moved into a smaller space therefore some including this car, needs to get sold as I have no room to store for the Winter. The work I had performed is as follows: Complete brake job, to include rotors, calipers and pads (front). Replaced rear breaks and wheel cylinders. Complete in dash new am/fm with CD stereo and rear speakers. Replaced power steering pump, fan clutch, battery and hold down, accelerator pump, all belts and fluids, new shocks and hoses, tires and wiper arm assembly's, including control head. New heater core and heater blower. New fuel pump, new alternator, thermostat and carb replacement. I also replaced the exhaust. I fixed the A/C but it will not hold the freeon. Needs new compressor. The car is in overall good shape and presentable as is. I have driven it long distances and it runs very well with plenty of power. Uglies include: A/C Needs compressor, car is starting to rust and bubbling around front driver side line marker ( see pic), typical deterioration started at base of rag top roof (rear base) (see pics). At bottom of rear quarters, some rust begining but minor, other than that, some normal wear and tear but overall, an excellent driver in better shape than anything of this vintage year; unrestored. Perfect car for restoration, back up car, or parts for a hot rod restoration with that 440 power plant. Please ask any questions you wish, feel free to call 608.807.6935. I reserve right to end auction early due to local sale. I have over $8,000 in it. I know I will not get anywhere near that out of it. I have receipts. AUTO IS BEING RE-LISTED DUE TO A NON PAYING BIDDER. IF YOU HAVE A HISTORY OF NON-PAYMENT, LESS THAN 99% FEEDBACK OR 0 FEEDBACK, PLEASE DO NOT BID. If you don't have the money to purchase a car, please do not bid. I am not a financial institution either and I do not finance cars. I am a private owner, please don't ask.
