You are bidding on an original piece of motorcycle history!!! An original 2 owner Arizona classic enduro. This bike has been in our family since 1982. I bought it from the original owner here in AZ with only 300 miles on it. It now has less than 5000 original miles. It is a true family heirloom. I have a picture of the little 3 year old riding it. This is the same little girl riding it in these pictures. She is now 22. I had this bike 8 years before she was born. Hard times dictate its sale. It runs perfect and has always been garaged and never been outside. We have had many great memories with this bike. I use to drive it to work and would often take the trails (the off road route) home through the desert. Being a desert bike since new, there is no rust or pitting of any kind. While the bike is in perfect running order, please note the following: rear blinkers are missing and I can’t find them, head light and front blinkers are intermittent and if you push hard on the switch, they will work momentarily. The break light switch had a short and was on all the time so I clipped the wires to the switch and tied them back (dumb move on my part!) Unfortunately, on the way home from a day in the desert many years ago, a tie down strap failed and the bike fell and the gas tank hit the side of my pick up. The result was a small crease in the R/H side of the gas tank. The left side panel is missing. I see them very often here on Ebay but never get around to bidding on them. I hve never had to do anything to this bike other then the following: I have been very diligent with the oil changes. Living here in the desert, I use only Honda 50wt oil. I clean the air-filter all the time and it has a new element in it now. I will include the filter oil with the sale. It has very new tires! A recent chain, and I adjust the valve tappets as recommended (feeler gages required). I have checked the timing 1 time and it was spot on and have never needed to do so again. It had a new spark plug sometime ago and is probably due now. I had the seat recovered back in the late 80’s. This is all I have ever had to do to this bike. The bike comes with a full shop manual, the original key (and spares too) the full color maintenance and repair manual and the original tool bag as well! Bike has originally placed, excellent condition data plate. The bike has not been cleaned or detailed and is used about twice a month to keep the battery up to snuff. The pictures dictate just what it is J This motorcycle has a free and clear Arizona title which I will sign and notarize at time of sale! We have purchased 2 street bikes on E-bay and have found a shipping company that is very reasonable and great to deal with. All of the e-bay recommended shippers are good.
