Relisting Due To Non Payment. A Very Nice, Mostly Original 1969 Z 50 A. I have owned for over 20 years. Frame # Z50A-128665. Engine # Z50AE 126687. It was very clean when I purchased it, and had been an inside stored bike. I did, what I would call, a sympathetic restoration in the early '90's. Rebuilt the forks and new boots, (Honda) new tires and tubes, all new bearings, new chain and OEM sprockets, new ignition switch (from Honda), new ignition coil, (Honda), new brake and throttle cables, (all from Honda), rebuilt hand throttle, rebuilt the carb, replaced petcock (Honda), Had the tank cleaned and lined, repainted the tank, (because of having it professionally cleaned), and painted the head light bucket. The engine has never been apart and runs perfect, no noises, no smoke. Seat is the original one that came with it, the "Honda" letters have faded off, but you can still see the image up close. Spark plug tools are clipped in under seat. One small 1/2" repaired tear, see pics, that hasn't moved in the 20 years since I repaired it. Frame is original, and shows normal nicks and scratches from it's first life of use. Chrome is almost perfect, with no pitting whatsoever. No dents, dings or scratches on the fenders, chain guard, or bars. Heat shields and exhaust are very nice, couple minor scratches on the stinger, but not through the chrome. Tank emblems are very nice, and un-blemished, not dinged up. All parts that were replaced were from Honda, because no one was remaking very many items for them back then. This Honda has been in a climate controlled environment since I have owned it, starts every time, and only adult ridden occasionally. This was identical to my very first Honda I got when I was 9 years old. I have several other small Honda's of the same vintage, and just don't ride them much, so it's time for them to move on. It's a very honest, largely original, little Z 50, that I have had the pleasure of enjoying for many years. The new owner will not be disappointed, and the reserve is very reasonable.
