This is a 2007 Silver Mercedes Benz E320 BlueTec Sedan. BlueTec is a rarer type of Mercedes that means it uses 'clean diesel.' This means you use diesel fuel - which provides significant mpg improvement over traditional gas, yet it is mixed in the engine with a liquid that makes the emissions vastly cleaner than regular gas - so much so that you actually never have to smog check this car in California under current law.See this description of the technology from the Mercedes Benz web site: "BlueTEC clean diesel technology is the state of the art for all 50 states. (Please note range will vary and do not expect this with all cars, including this one) It has $5000 worth of an extra set of 18 inch chrome wheels and tires with less than 10,000 miles that come with it. It is a turbocharged v6 diesel. The car is beautiful. Bluetooth phone connectivity has been added ($500 value). It has 10-way power front seats with 3 position memory seats. It comes with the Burl Walnut Trim and is iridium silver in color with the black interior. It has the Harman Kardon Logic7 digital surround sound system with sat radio. It has a 6 disc cd changer, dual zone climate control, sliding glass moonroof, auto dimming rear and side mirrors, speed sensitive power steering, telescoping steering column, integrated garage door opener, and intermittent wipers with rain sensors. For safety features it has tele aid emergency calling and communication system, steel reinforced cabin with front and rear crumple zones, dual front airbags w multi stage deployment, side airbags mounted in front and rear, head protection curtain, anti-theft w/ engine immobilizer, roll over sensor, night security illumination, pre-safe system, electronic stability program, and 4 wheel ABS disc brakes with brake assist system. This vehicle is also equipped with the premium package which includes DVD Navigation, Sirius satellite radio, heated front seats, power rear window sunshade, hands free communication system. This vehicle can get up to 41 miles per gallon on the highway and around 30 in the city. The car is almost flawless with an extra set of 18 inch chrome wheels for the summer and as well as the 16 inch all season tires for winter. The car has never seen snow. You will not be disappointed. I bought this car in December of 2007 specifically because of its ecologically friendly characteristics - better gas mileage and low emissions. This car has been treated very well and has been garaged for most of its time with me. Living in Northern California, even when it was out of the garage, it was not treated to harsh weather.The miles on this car are primarily good highway miles, with daily travel from home to work and back and weekend trips out of town.We are only selling to cut down on expenses, as we already have two other cars. I owned a Mercedes sedan before this car, and have loved them both tremendously.I have sold my last 3 cars on eBay, and always to extremely happy purchasers, and I have bought my last 4 cars on eBay, and have always been an extremely happy purchaser (including this car in 2007). Please note: the car has one small (approx. 4 inches) scratch on the rear bumper and one small (approx. 2 inches) seam tear on the driver's seat - a picture of each is included. Rather than repair these and keep your cost high, we would rather offer a discounted price (private party value of this car is over $22,000 with the extra set of wheels and tires) to the buyer and let you choose if and when to do anything about these 2 items. They are barely noticeable, but must be disclosed. It is an otherwise amazingly beautiful car.
