This car has not been registered since 1989!! ALL ORIGINAL SURVIVOR. It is recently out of storage and ready for a new owner. Mileage shows 27,539 and is Accurate with documents to show history of the car.(see Photos) I am not an expert by any means but will do my best to describe this car and I will be happy to answer any questions. Just email them. I also encourage the prospective buyers to view the car first if possible? Or have someone look at it for you. This car has been stored for the last 22 yrs in owners house garage. It is considered a DRIVER CONDITION car in my opinion that you can drive Today and Enjoy while fine-tuning the minor cosmetics. INTERIOR : The interior seats are in very nice condition with normal wear for their age. (See Photos). NO Tears or Holes. 100% Original! Dashboard is in good condition. Steering wheel wrap has some cracks in the leather. Door panels are very nice. Carpet is good with no issues noted. EXTERIOR : This car is all fiberglass and is in very nice condition. No cracks or stress areas noted. Upon being removed from storage, entire car was wet sanded with 2000 grit paper and rubbed out and polished. That brought the deep shine right back to the car. Other than it having some chips here and there from being in garage for 22 yrs, the paint looks great and I would rate it as driver quality.(See Photo). Front and rear bumpers have no cracks and are in good condition but could use painted to be perfect. Front bumper has some nicks on passenger lower side that did not rub out all the way and over all shine to both is not as good as car. Maybe due to the flex additive in them to prevent cracking?? UNDERNEATH: Car has no rust. Frame has undercoating on it and looks to be in good shape with no issues. Some surface rust on shocks and springs here and there but no issues noted. Previous owner purchased the car in 1982 with 18,000 mile on it. Drove it until 1989 when the car was parked due to illness and sat until this past summer.(documents for the repairs showing the mileage each time are included with sale to help sustain originality) Along with polishing the cars paint the following items were done to get it back up to speed... -Polish entire cars finish -Changed oil -Changed all other fluids -Cleaned gas tank -Replaced All Brakes including new calipers, pads, two brake lines -Replaced battery -Replaced neg. battery terminal/ wire Car starts right up and sounds great. Runs smooth and trans shifts, as it should. Car Only has 27,539 original miles. Car also has ORIGINAL period THUGG BUG alarm and it works great! Very loud! What it needs: -A/C re-charge (compressor kicks on but blows warm air) -Tires. They were replaced in 1983 @ Firestone Dealer (receipt for them included showing cars mileage) Although they have less than 5k miles on them, car sat in one spot therefore making flat spots on tires. They look new but need replaced. NOTE: -ALTHOUGH CAR IS IN RUNNING and DRIVING CONDITION, it has been mostly sitting in storage so it will need to be gone thru further. Someone who knows cars will need to check everything to be safe but it can be easily started and driven today. DRIVE this wonderful classic and ENJOY TODAY and work on the finer details as you go.
