For sale is my 2005 Saab 9-2x Aero 5 speed manual wagon in silver, 2.0 4-cylinder turbocharged engine, 225 HP. I'm selling because I just had twins and 2 car seats don't fit in the back (unless you are a very short driver). Otherwise, I love this car and would keep it forever. It's in great shape, I am the second owner (bought it from my friend with less than 20k on it several years ago - he got into a fender bender that required the left front quarter panel to be replaced shortly after he bought it, but no structural damage) and I have maintained it religiously ever since. Mechanically, the car is perfect. Full synthetics when I bought the car and have changed it with Amsoil synthetic fluids and Mobil 1 motor oil every 5k miles. The car runs great with no problems and was actually a joint venture between Subaru and Saab - the drivetrain is from the Subaru WRX which means none of the Saab reliability issues and the Subaru engine will run for as long as you want to keep the car! Cosmetically there are some small scratches and a couple of tiny dings. I've tried to show these to the best of my ability in the pictures. The interior is clean, a couple of scuffs on the leather seats that I've also tried to show in the pictures. Non-smoker, some hair from my dog on the floor mats and carpets but this will come out with a good interior cleaning and detail. The title is clear - one note about the title is that on Carfax (I'm not sure about the service that Ebay motors uses) a flag will come up about the odometer. When you read the full report though, you will see that this was a mistake by the California DMV when I moved here that they subsequently corrected, but the flag still pops up of Carfax. Basically when I registered my car and transferred my title here, they accidentally put that the mileage was not the "actual mileage" and I had to take my car back and have them inspect it and verify the mileage. They reissued a new title (clear) to me and I've included a picture of my title that you can check for yourself (I blocked out my name/address). Here are a list of upgrades my car has: Custom premium sound system - JVC head unit with iPod/iPhone connection, MP3 single disc CD and HD radio. Polk component speakers with an 8 inch 800 watt subwoofer under the driver’s seat installed professionally Two-tone leather interior Dealer installed Thule roof rack with wind fairing/deflector Upgraded tires with BF Goodrich G-Force SuperSport Z-rated All-season tires. These have less than 10,000 miles on them and plenty of tread life left (about 75%). Recently replaced rotors and brake pads (replaced at 58,000). Upgraded battery 1 year ago with an Optima Red Top battery Recently replaced Osram headlights and fog lamps. New Amsoil air filter changed at 72,000. Full service with full Amsoil synthetics at 58,000 and new belts. Motor oil changed every 5,000 miles with Mobil1 synthetic and factory oil filters since 30,000 miles until now. Terms of sale: I will require an $800 deposit 72 hours after the close of the auction by paypal and payment with a certified check or money order (or personal check, but i will have to wait for payment to clear) once shipping is arranged (obviously a local sale would be easier, we could just trade payment in person for the car, both sets of keys and the title). So best way to buy this car (or any used car) would be to get in touch with me so you can test drive it and see it for yourself. I am also open to a third party inspection if you want to pay for that. That being said, I have been on Ebay since it's inception and do not have 1 negative review. I am not a car salesman and I am not looking to make a profit or rip anyone off; I just want to sell this car for a reasonable price. I have listed this car well below the Kelley Blue Book which is around $11,000 for this car in "good" condition. Thanks for looking!
