1958 FORD F-100 FOR SALE! REBUILT 302 with NEW CAM, HI-RISE INTAKE, CHERRY BOMBS, AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION! READY FOR A NEW OWNER! Super-clean 1958 Ford F-100 pickup for sale! This old truck is very solid, with only a few spots of surface rust on the body, and is ready for a new owner. Clean Kansas title. The odometer shows 42047 on the miles. We bought it to have ACTUAL miles - though there's no way to prove it, the truck is clean and straight, no reason to doubt that they are correct miles. The truck WAS a 6 cylinder, 3-speed. The rebuilt engine and transmission came out of a 1971 Ford pickup. The 302 V-8 was rebuilt with a new cam (sorry, they tossed the box and cam card so I can't give specifics, but it sounds really good - has a nice deep thump to it). The automatic transmission shifts smooth and the truck drives really nice. Other specs I know - new plugs/wires, new hydraulic lifters, new distributor cap & rotor, timing set, new water pump, new motor mounts, 180 degree thermostat, new alternator, temp. sender, new battery, all new belts & hoses, new oil pan, new B & M shifter on the floor, Cherry Bombs, headers and new dual exhaust (see photo). The truck could use new tires, but drives fine the way it is now. The bench seat is covered in brown vinyl, floor mat is black vinyl. The floor is solid under the mat. The dash is painted a neutral cream color. There is no headliner in the truck. The door opener latch on the driver's door (interior) is broken off. The door opens using the exterior latch - just have to roll the window down. The windshield, driver's big window, and rear window all have cracks (see photos), but nothing that impedes their use. The bottom of the driver's side front fender (behind the tire) has a few cracks in the body putty from previous body work. It's nothing major and is hard to see, but that's the only spot that appears to need fixed. The right passenger side of the bed also sits a bit lower than the driver's side so I'm not sure if a spring is broken or what. It doesn't hinder the driving of the truck (see photo). The bed floor is the original metal - in good shape. The back taillight lenses are both broken out - will need to be replaced. The headlights work most of the time - the switch seems to stick sometimes. The taillights need new bulbs. It is not recommended that this vehicle be driven to it's final destination because the lights will not pass any inspections - bulbs broken, etc. The drum brakes should probably be adjusted or worked on as well, prior to driving any length of time. $500.00 deposit is requested through Paypal within 48 hours of auction end. Item must be paid for in full within 7 days of auction end. I would like the vehicle to be picked up within 7 days of auction end as well, unless other arrangements are made. Seller will not deliver the vehicle. A fun little truck - got divorced and the projects have to go. Seller makes every effort to accurately represent all items for sale.
