Vehicle Detail

I am offering for sale a very nice 50's style hot rod. This car was built in the 1980's by a very talented mechanic and body man, now deceased. The car has many classic features including louvered hood, frenched headlights, and grille with recessed frenched tail lights. It has been nosed and decked, and door handles removed. The rear fenders have been moulded to the body, and the antenna has been recessed. The lake pipes have been tunneled into the body, it also has dummy spot lights. All chrome on the body has been redone and the window and door rubbers have been replaced. The interior is rolled and pleated, the trunk is upholstered, and all is in good shape. The car has (I think a 350) Chev engine with three dueces on it, with an automatic trans. All the gauges and lights work, it has new wiring, Power steering, power brakes with disc on front, tilt wheel, an 8 track radio, and power door and truck openers. The paint is in good shape, considering it was painted over 20 years ago, with only a few minor blemishes. The car runs well and handles well, the undercarriage is good. The car has always been stored in a dry garage. The former owner died in 2002, and the car has been stored ever since, except for an occasional trip around the block to keep it in good operating condition. The car was built out of a very good low mileage car. If you are looking for a traditional hot rod, this is about as good as it gets, it is done right, and would be a great car to drive or show. I am selling this car for a friend, and he feels that the only way to properly sell a car at auction is to have no reserve. If you have any questions please call Ken at 513 403 7386 or email me and I will try to answer your questions.
