Price Reduced - No Reserve - MUST SELL!!! 1980 HONDA CB125 S MODEL: 3,582 Original Miles, Clear Title (State of Oregon), 3rd Owner This is one awesome commuter motorcycle that has a lot of power for a 31 year old bike with a 125cc motor and a Single Overhead Cam (OHC). I am 270 pounds and this Honda CB125 S will pull me easily up a 3-percent grade at 45 miles per hour to 55 miles per hour without a complaint! 65MPH is its top speed. I purchased this bike for my seven (7) mile commute too-and-from work with a bike that can get up to 90 miles per gallon. The bike has a 1-down, 4-up manual transmission. The bike is well balanced from 0MPH to 65MPH. Brakes are tight and clutch is good. Strong compression. No smoke at all. Bike is very easy to operate. I love this bike, but cannot register this bike in the State of California. The California DMV told me (last week) that if the bike has less than 150cc's, and has less than 7,500 miles on it, I cannot register the bike in the State of California unless it has a sticker/tag on the frame for California Emissions. The law went into effect in 2008. The bike has a sticker/tag on the frame for U.S. Emissions only. The Buyer can register this "Motor-Driven-Cycle" (less than 149cc's) anywhere in the U.S. except for California (NOT FOR SALE IN CALIFORNIA. IF YOU LIVE IN CALIFORNIA, DO NOT BID ON THIS BIKE!). The bike has a clear title from Oregon. I purchased the bike on eBay on August 5, 2011, and have had it in the garage ever since. The bike was stored in a garage and kept clean and running by a sports car mechanic for many years prior. I paid $300 dollars to have the bike shipped to Southern California. The bike has very few cosmetic items for a 31 year old bike.. The only items that need a slight adjustment and repair is the rear left turn light mounting bracket (pushed down because of being in storage for many years) and a burned-out "Turn Signal (is on)" light on the instrument cluster. The tank has a discoloration on the left side in a circle pattern. I have replaced the battery with a new sealed unit (no more water evaporation from the tube!) and replaced the spark plug. It starts on the first kick and runs great! Comes with original Owners Manual, Registration and Papers (see picture). This bike is a real keeper and would be great for traveling to work, high school or college. Yes, the bike runs very well and sounds strong and smooth (I drove it all the way to the DMV and back. The last owner put a rack on the back for me so I can take my dog for rides. He loves his plastic milk crate...but no more...thanks to California law). Happy Bidding, or "Buy Now"!!!
