1960 CORVAIR "700" - VERY LOW MILES - "Original" underscores the best way to describe this really neat classic. Still sporting its original paint with only some touch ups and repair on the gravel pans under front and rear bumpers. Chrome bumpers are excellent! Headlight bevels and body trim excellent. Doors, hood and trunk open and close like they did when delivered from the factory. Trunk floor and floor boards are as solid as a rock - no rust. Original trunk and interior floor mats. Original rear seat coverings and front seat is recovered. Headliner has a tiny hole (quarter size). The rear seat has a fold down feature similar to a station wagon. Door panels are very colorfull and look like new. All windows work and the glass is excellent all around. Comes with the original 4 hub caps plus the wire spoke wheel covers as shown in the pictures. Somebody put a long crease scratch on the passenger side of the car. Has new tires and drives excellent. It has only 44,000 original miles and it shows. They only make original once!!! Receipts over $700.00 spent this year on tires, battery, brakes, generator, starter, carburetors, muffler, tail pipe and more. Cold start needs addressed but runs like a champ after start. They claim these Corvairs get 30 miles to a gallon of gasoline. Looking for a low cost classic you can be proud of and protect your investment at the same time - it's right here!
