Vehicle Detail
Hello, You are viewing my 1977 Lincoln Continental, which is ENORMOUSLY large and a total head-turner with it's rare green on green color combination. Green exterior, with awesome green leather interior, green dash, green carpets, green ceiling, green EVERYTHING! This car is a total blast to drive as anywhere you take it, people stare, point, usually make funny comments, and sometimes even yell to me! I have even had it in two cars shows, and people just love it! Not only is the color interesting but the car is just absoluely huge. After General Motors downsized its full product line up for 1977, the Continental became the largest mass-market automobile produced worldwide at the time, surpassed only by purpose-built limousines such as the Mercedes-Benz 600 and Rolls-Royce Phantom VI. In comparison to the 1970 model, the 5-mph bumpers seen on 1975–1979 models left the Continental 7 inches longer. I bought this car in 2007 with all original parts. Since then, I have replaced the following : new shocks, new brakes, new rotors, new battery, new alternator, and new paint job. But the paint is the original factory color. Same color, just new paint. (exterior matches the interior of the trunk.) The only thing not working on the car is the air conditioning. Everything else is in working order. power windows, power seats, am/fm radio. Body wise, there is one thin piece of plastic side molding which is currently coming off (which you can see is just attached with electric tape at the moment.) The trunk is enormous, and currently holds a full spare. I also have the two original front and one of the original back floor mats which are currently in the trunk - yes they are green! I love the car and it has been a blast to have, but I currently have 6 vehicles and the insurance on all of them is becoming a bit much. Hate to see this go, but my wife will be thrilled to clear up some space in the driveway. I will let the pictures speak for themselves.
