2000 XK8 Convertible with 64k miles, clean title, emissions certificate, and registration paid thru Aug 2012. When I bought it in 2006, the car was covered under it's extended warranty so any repairs were immediately addressed at the dealer, and I have all of the service records, parts receipts, dealer books/manuals, all keys and even the original window sticker. The 2000 and later XK8 is one of the most reliable and easy to maintain cars on the road with exceptional fuel ecomony and performance. No hidden issues here, no surprises, just a clean, garaged, unmolested and well maintained Jaguar. Recent Services: New starter motor (the starters are always engaged so they wear out at 50-60k miles). Factory thermostat housing (plastic) upgraded to aluminum unit along with hoses. Coolant level sensor sticking, replaced entire reservoir tank, sensor, and cap. Ceramic brake pads at all 4 corners. Zinc plated cross drilled slotted rotors all around which don't rust, squeal, or fade, and provide significantly improved braking. Tires retain 90% tread life. 97-99 model years have timing chain related issues. This car features the factory upgraded tensioners and electrical system. Features all work except toggle switch for side view mirrors. No indicator lights on in dash and all service is up to date. The car runs cool and quiet with no knocks/pings, super clean emissions, no smoke from tailpipes, and no overheating. The transmission shifts perfectly and on time with no error messages or issues.
