Vehicle Detail
This is an excellent original example of the 1972 Suzuki Titan T500J. This was one of the fastest if not the fastest twin 2 strokes from that era. These early big bore sport bikes have quite a cafe cult following. This bike is big, stout, and very fast bike with incredible sweeping torque for it's day. It was rated at a 47hp and ran the quarter in 13.0 seconds. The brakes were the cutting edge leading shoe design coveted by racers of the day it has a finned front drum for cooling. Unlike the early models this engine has no mid torque vibrations or lag as I've experienced on others. All fluids are fresh, clutch and brakes work very well. Plugs are fresh, and carbs recently tuned. She has no case oil leaks, chain and sprockets are fine and the original seat cover and period tires are still in excellent shape. It could use a new rear tire in the next 4-5K miles but it is fine for now. It has good fork seals with brand new factory fork boots. The ride and stance are impressive. Inside of the tank is perfect and rust free/clean. The left side cover is a brand new (NOS) factory painted replacement from Suzuki in the factory orange pearl. The right side oil tank and gas tank are the original factory pearl orange and cream paint, in very nice shape with minor wear. The rest of the bike's chrome is good to very good overall in condition and appearance, only minor flaws here and there. Only known problem is a weak blinker flasher that comes and go's, a new flasher unit will probably fix it. A new (much brighter) halogen bulb is mounted in the factory housing and the battery is only 6-7 months old. This is a great vintage ride that will not dissapointed it's new owner when ridden and has been very dependable for me.........please look at my prior Suzuki and bike sales feedback and know that if you are not happy with the bike as I described and have a legitimate condition concern after the purchase (in the 7 days) I will refund your deposit, less any e-bay relist fees as I am confident this bike will impress the new owner. You can call my cell at 949-322-5831 for more info or to see it asap. thx. This bike is in my name, and in the GA. DMV system. It will be sold on Bill of Sale. I've added new and the enhanced pictures to my relisting for better clarity. One picture shows the left emblem, and chain gaurd not the bike during a chain cleaning and adjusting but they are both very nice and in place as seen in the other pictures. I do not have factory rear foot pegs the bike either. thx On Nov-25-11 at 05:42:48 PST, seller added the following information:
