Up for auction is a 1992 Ford F250 XLT x-cab 4wd. This truck has a 7.5L 460 and auto trans. The cab and front clip are in good condition, with no known rust. The bed has some dents inside from being used, but it's still presentable and not bad for a '92. The left outside of the bed is scrapped, but no too badly. There were gooseneck hitch rails in the bed that have been removed. The interior is in good condition, with the power windows, locks and A/C in working order. The truck has a TTB Dana 50 front axle and Sterling 10.25 rear. The transmission needs work, it does not have neutral or reverse. The truck has current tag and insurance, and is driven at least once a week, it just won't back up. The fuel gauge for the front tank only works at times, but the pump is OK. The gauge works for the rear tank, but the pump is bad. The truck will need at least 2 tires. It also has a flowmaster muffler (one pipe in, two out) and one of the tailpipes (out of muffler) is missing. Clear NC title. I think this is the only negative detail I left out. I want to be as honest about the truck as possible, but it is a '92 with over 100k. Being priced at a good bit less than $2000, I think it's a good deal, even with the defects it has, considering the prices on similar trucks.
