This vehicle is being relisted due to a non paying bidder! Please bid only if you are serious about purchasing this Toyota. 2002 Toytoa RAV 4 Automatic with 4WD. Inspected until last day of December 2011. Silver paint in good shape. Vehicle has aftermarket Rial wheels (approximately two years old.) Tires are 70-80%. All maintenance has been done on this vehicle at a Toyota dealership. Interior is very clean and in good shape, cloth seat are in excellent condition. Rear seats fold flat to create more room for hauling things. There are a few door dings on the driver side door, On the passenger side the front fender has a small dent (see photo.) No rust visible except for inside driver side door there are a couple of small spots on floor as you enter vehicle (see photo.) There is a crack on the spare tire cover (see photo.) Transmission needs to be looked at since it occasionally slips. Vehicle is under a recall for Engine Control Module although our local Toyota dealer says the "appropriate" check engine light is not on, so therefore they can't do any diagnostics on it without charging a fee. Another Toyota dealer may do the diagnostics, we don't have the time to take it elsewhere to be sure. In my opinion the buyer of this vehicle should have it towed home and transmission checked before a long drive. From what I have learned the Engine Control Module may have something to do with the transmission slipping. Battery does need to be replaced. This vehicle has been an excellent SUV. It does great in slippery snow conditions. It was driven by my mother for the past 9 years and has always been reliable. Please email me with any questions.
