1961 Vanden Plas Austin Princess Limousine Vehicle converted to a 3.8L Fuel Injected Ford Mustang Engine and Automatic transmission. Has air conditioning for driver and rear passengers. Right hand drive. Clear NJ state inspection sticker until 03/12. Not a show vehicle by any means, It is a work horse. I would recommend some body work and repairs, but runs and drives fine. Just performed a wedding 2 weeks ago with no problems. Some dings and dents, doors starting to sag and rear trunk lid locking frame is coming apart. Has updated power brake system, but needs a new pressure pump. We we will provide contact information for the company that has the correct parts if you choose to reactivate the power brakes. Stops normal like a vehicle without power brakes when pump is not active. It is not as hard to stop as vehicle that has power brakes that do not work. Radiator & A/C Compressor replaced last fall. Complete transmission overhaul last summer. Steering wheel replaced with smaller unit to make vehicle easier to drive for larger people. Rear passenger area has a mini bar, lighting and separate radio for the passengers. Vehicle takes wonderful pictures for bride/groom. Changing our fleet around for 2012 adding a few new vehicles and getting rid of the last of the classics. Vehicle makes about $550.00 for every wedding it performs. Great addition to a small limousine fleet or for an individual to start their own small wedding business. We will gladly start sending customers interested in this vehicle to a business in NJ if the vehicle is re-registered as a limousine in NJ and the company meets our high quality standards. If you are interesting in the purchase, please feel free to come drive this vehicle before you purchase. We will gladly provide free transportation to/from EWR airport to our location for inspection. Can be driven anywhere, but I would recommend having the vehicle shipped if it is more than a few hundred miles as the drivers compartment is very tight.
