i have a 1979 power wagon that needs a little love.. this truck originally ran 2 years ago but had no low or reverse. had the transmission pulled and rebuilt.. at that time i thought well lets pull engine and rebuild and paint. i found 2 cracked heads, bought used heads and had rebuilt with new springs. rebuilt 360 engine with new rings all new bearings. installed a new mopar performance purple stick cam and lifters. pulled both gas tanks and had cleaned. new u joints alla round and axles seals and drive shaft seals to differential. undercoated the underneath of entire truck. i beleive the gears are 4:11 with a i think a dana 60 in rear and 44 in front ( not to sure but i was told thats what they came with). i had the split bench seat reupholstred. dash and everything in the cab looks good. has about 40 hours of body work done to truck, pretty clean body. there are a couple of small rust areas but nothing alarming. still needs to be done install radiator ( already cleaned and painted ready for install) - needs to hook up shift linkage and kick down linkage and throttle cable to manifold.- needs carb - i have all smog equipment install or parts in box. needs to install starter and dust cover between engine and trans. needs filler hose and vent hose for rear tank. need to install back bumper. hook up electrical and vacume lines.. someone with real good mechanical knowledge is looking at 8-20 hours of work. please dont bid if your not willing to pay i have other pictures i need to post, if you have any question or want to see more pics just email me and i will send. winning bidder to take care of transportation.
