Up for auction we have a 1967 VW BUG. The ole car is in pretty good shape. Has some rust inside, outside and under. Floorpans could be repaired or replaced depending on how far you wanted to restore the ole girl. Really a good little car to do a restoration on.. Upholstery needs replaced. Odometer reads 35,361 but the miles cannot be verified... Everything seems to be pretty tight with the front end and the back end when on jacks. Fuel gauge and other gauges seem to work fine. As you can see by the pics the car needs new windshield and seal, paint job, a front bumper and some tender loving care. The dash is in really good shape. The seats have been recovered by the prev owner but not sure of quality though they would work if you like them. The fronts are out of a 1968 though i believe.. They are a higher backed seat than the 1967 came with. The rubber fuel supply line on the fuel tank needs to be replaced before you can run off of the tank. I have used a portable fuel tank to run the engine and it runs pretty strong, NO SMOKE!!!!! Love that sound... As far as I know the engine is original but promises since I have to go by the previouse owner. I have shifted and checked all gears and all works very well. Clutch seems good and doesn't grind when putting into gear. The front compartment has rusted out somewaht where the jack and spare tire goes. All tires need to be replaced and the brakes are non operable. I have the bill of sale for this car but the prev owner lost the title but here in Georgia I am told by the tag office that all you need is the bill of sale. THIS YEAR BUG HAS SEVERAL DISTINCT OPTIONS THAT WERE ONLY AVAILABLE FOR THE ONE YEAR.. IF YOU WOULD LIKE ANYMORE PICS SEND A MESSAGE AND I WILL TAKE THE AND POST THE NEW ONES. I WILL HAVE TO DELETE A COUPLE OF THE CURRENTS SO LOOK GOOD BEFORE ASKING FOR MORE. THANKS
