Love this bike, but too much work and too many projects to use it. If you know Beemers you'll know this is still rated one of their best ever. It's smooth, fast, economical, reliable, good looking. And with just under 49k miles this will keep running with just routine maintenance for many many years yet. If I had the time to ride this bike I'd be keeping it. Front tire has 2.5mm of tread down the middle and the rear has only done 1000 miles (new last year). The shaft was re-splined when I changed the rear tire by the guru in these matters in Canada (Bruno's Machine and Repair) 18 months ago and at the same time a new clutch plate and Viton rear crank seal was installed. Cosmetically the only points to note are the Corbin seat which has been like that since I bought it and there's a small area of epoxy at the bottom right of the fairing - just visible in photos. One of the locks on one bag doesn't work. Both locks that secure the bags to the bike are fine. Please only pay the requested depoit via E Bay. The balance can be made by any other secure method. I can deliver in the Chicagoland area.
