1938 Chevy truck was in storage 3 years in Michigan, then the last 20 in Alabama. Truck ran 21 years ago and has been in dry storage. Owner was going to restore but due to health reasons never got around to it. Will try to describe as best as possible. Truck all metal except two front fenders are fiberglass. All tires hold air. Truck is complete inside and out. Stake Body is 7' 6'' long 31''inches tall. Made out of oak. Has one side board that has been replaced and never stained. Side railing breaks down into two sections each side. Very nice hardware painted black. Truck has tailgate seat frames there. Owner has purchased a dark tan and brown fabric from Recaro seat Co. as to redo also has seat backing. Items bought : New and not installed: 2- backup lights New Repo - 2 Headlight Rims (Repo) - 4- Hubcaps - 1 wiring harness - Windshield Charrall - 2 Pedal Covers -Interior Piping and Screws - Gas Tank Garment - Gaskets, Valve Cover , Oil Pan, and Engine Victor Gasket Co. Used parts that go with truck: 1- Delco Generator #893 - 1 water pump and fan - 1 Transmission yoke - 2 Transmissions - 1 Bell Housing 1- Shift Knob - 2- Brake Shoes New - 2 Misc steering arm parts - 1 used voltage regulator - 4 misc. hub caps - 1 set of rear springs - 1 steering wheel, column, and steering box, 1 front axel hub, two hub complete - 2 brake lines - 1 spare wheel- 1mirror post (no mirror) - 1 radiator and cap - 2 rear hubs.
