Up for sale is my 1985 Honda VF1000R. This is the holy grail of Honda Sportsbikes as they were only imported for 2 yrs to the states 85-86. This is an unmolested 85 with 16k waiting to be restored to her former glory. Once restored these sell for several thousands of dollars. Here is your chance to get one and build her the way you want. The original owner dumped it on the right side then parked it. The damage is only cosmetic and the fairing is real fiberglass so easily repaired. The bike has no title but I checked and it is out of the DMV systems so just some forms need filled out to get one. Sold as is not returns and local pick up only. Have not tried to start been sitting for time will need carb rebuild and fresh oil put into try. Tank is rustfree minus surface and contains old gas. Gas cap will need replaced as its seized.On Nov-20-11 at 13:01:31 PST, seller added the following information: Update went out the garage to check the bike out a bit. The shifter goes through all the gears (clutch works) and the engine moves freely and is not stuck!!! Rebuild the carbs and she should fire right up!
