I am the owner's mechanic and have thoroughly checked out this M3 from top to bottom. The car is in pristine condition; it could sit in the showroom right now and be labeled as a new car. I have tested all the fluids for acidity and contamination, and they all passed with flying colors. I have been a Euro mechanic for over 15 years and I can vouch and put my shop's rep on the line for this car. It has been performance tested, gas has been replaced with 100 octane and all the fuel lines checked. Suspension has been loaded and unloaded and tires checked for flat spots and side wall checked for any weaknesses. The SMG trans has been run through all its gears in auto and manual mode, sport mode and trac control work flawless as well. Interior is flawless; there are no wear lines in the leather, and the paint as smooth as glass. He included the following comments: "I got the M3 back from Steve Thomas. Those guys are really great guys and they took care of us. There were 4 open recalls on the M3; one was a major one in which they replaced the main bearings in the engine and some other ones were computer upgrades and sensors. Let me tell you, the car ran great! There is a window sticker on the inside of the windshield saying do not exceed 105 mph or 5,500 RPM due to the proper break-in procedures. The car got an oil change and a bath as well. Also, it got a 5-star rating for it being so brand new, and is really liked by all at Steve Thomas."
