Up for sale is my 2002 GMC Sierra 1500 Pick up Truck It has now 185K miles, has an automatic transmission and 8 foot long bed that seats 3. This is the same truck as the Chevy silverado 1500. This truck starts runs and drives great! the suspension and drive train are in excellent shape, transmission excellent shape, no rattles drives much better than it looks suspension is tight brakes are great shape the engine is good but will need a complete tune up. It does hesitate to start a little in cold weather and misfires a under acceleration (mechanic said it could use a new fuel filter, new plugs and wires perhaps injector cleaner?) The misfire does go away once the truck gets warm and is driven. The compression was tested (all good 6 cylinders) the fluids all look good, the coolant and engine oil are all great, does not leak any fluids does not consume oil. This truck also has brand new Brake lines and brake pads all around. The interior needs a good clean, the windows Dont roll up or down (needs window regulators or handles). The under carriage has some rust (nothing too serious) The heat works great, A/C also works well, CD player and all electronics work 100%. The truck needs a new grille (front grille old and cracked) needs a new bed (or can be repaired) rear tailgate door and rear Bumper; I would replace all of it. I made the holes in the bed (see pictures) because i was going to have new metal welded in however I have located the rear bed (complete 8 foot) with the rear bumper, and the tailgate door for a total of $400 (i will provide that information to winning bidder so they can go purchase / pick up the parts). I also have located the front grille for $150 complete (chrome). There is rust on the cab (bottom rocker panel). I intended to fix this truck up for work but Never got around to doing so due to lack of space and time. This truck is definitely worth fixing it drives very nice, has 4 brand new tires (cost $800 alone) would make an excellent project. This is 2 wheel drive (still never gets stuck) It was once a fleet vehicle for a local propane company. This is a no reserve auction (truck can be driven to any location).
