1940 Ford Pick-Up. Rare All Steel Including Running Boards. Frame Off Restoration Completed about 6 years ago by a Professional Street Rod Builder for his personal Driver. The body is very straight and has been painted in high quality base coat, clear coat, Toyota Dove Grey. I have extra paint if you prefer to delete logos on doors. The paint has held up very well, with only a few minor age flaws, and still has a brilliant shine. New Bob Drake Grille, Tail Gate and Front and Rear Chrome Bumpers. Drive Train consist of a 1990's LT 1 Corvette 350 Engine with a Eldebrock Carb and intake. Their is also lots of stainless and polished components in the engine compartment. Transmission is a GM 700R overdrive transmission. The Ford has a Mustang ll Power Rack and Pinion Steering with Power Front Disc Brakes. Rear End is a 84 GM coil over rear end with highway friendly 308 Gears. The Ford has new Radial tires and Vintage Steel Wheels. Engine Cooling is provided by a Walker Aluminum 4 Row Radiator. Cold Air Conditioning is provided by a Vintage type Under-dash unit. Interior is High Quality Ultra Leatherette Seat with seat belts for 3 occupants and additional storage space underneath the seat. All Glass is tinted. All instruments and gauges function properly. GM Tilt Column makes entrance and exit into the cabin easy. Undercarriage and Frame are super solid. This 40 Ford is truly a pleasure to drive. It will cruise 70 and 80 MPH all day long. It has been on several long cruises with no problems. As you can see the builder included all the right components in this Ford. He built it as a Cruiser as well as show. As usual this Ford will be sold as is, and I do reserve the right to end the auction early. The Reserve is very realistic.
