The motor has about 5000 miles on it and was pulled to get converted into electric. Someone smashed both wing windows and yanked the Momo steering wheel. The car is a California car but none the less there is a lot of rust on the body as well in the trunk. The trunk is so bad that the bottom floor pan of the trunk will have to be cut out and a new one welded in. The motor was professionally rebuilt by Ken Janson in Belmont. His shop was located behind the old Donsco. I used 2.0 sodium filled exhaust valves in the rebuild. These were hard to come by at the time and don’t think they make them anymore but were key to keep the exhaust valves from breaking and falling into the piston chamber. Once again the motor is sitting with the transmission on a wooden pallet. It is not in the car. I also added an Earls oil cooler in dead space located in front of the rear fender. I covered the oil cooler with a low profile supercharger scoop normally used in the Toyota Supercharged MR2’s. The oil cooler was a success. The oil temperature plummeted to 180. Never went over 190 no matter how fast or hot it got outside. I also pulled all the sketchy D-jetronic fuel injection components off the motor and upgraded the injection system to a 2.0 air vane style L-jetronic injection system. The injection system was pulled off a 2.0 VW bus. The vehicle ran much smother and had much more pickup. There was also a lot of additional ad-ons like front adjustable sway bars, 5 gauge center console 2.0 1973 high flow exhaust system dyno-matting, alloy rims, and more. Thank You Mark Armstrong
