Vehicle Detail
This is a very hard to find 1971 Datsun 240-Z with manual transmission. The car is in excellent shape for its age and it is well prerserved. It is in good running condition. It has a very good paint and the color is very rare: Green with white stripes, it makes the car look very nice. The interior color is even more rare: Butterscotch. Check out the pictures and you will see that it is in great condition. This is a very good running car. These cars are getting very hard to find. This one is a very good example of early Japanese sport car. It is very agile and great fun to drive. You will be attending "Z" events and get togethers with this baby. It is great the way it is, turn the key and enjoy. The car was adult owned and therefore, unlike others it is in great condition. It is almost impossible to find one of these car in good condition nowadays, they are either driven to the ground or modified extensively. This is not one of those cars. I priced this car very reasonably. The reserve will not be revealed, but bid to win, because if you do, you will be getting a very good 240Z. As you can see this is a 40 year old car, it is in great shape, but this is not a new car. I am not representing that it is. As with any car, I am sure there will be little things that will need to be done here and there. But, please look at the pictures and you will see that it is in exceptionaslly good condition for its age. I am not sure if the paint is original, but it is in excellent shape. The interior and all the instruments and doors windows are in great shape. I had the car about 2 years or so in my covered storage. If I drove it at all it would be 2-3 times. It was always kept on a trickle charger and I added fuel stabilizers to the gas. Oh yes, even though it was stored in a covered garage, it was also covered. So, I babied this little car since I bought it. For this ad I took it out and drove it a little and it drove very well, no problems. There is a lot of interest on this car and I am getting e-mails everyday about it since I advertised it last week. I decided to run the ad again and added a buy it now number, because most of the questions was about what I wanted for the car, here it is. By the way, my reserve is less than that, so bid to win. Look at all the other 240Zs and you will see that they are either messed up pretty good or they are modified or restored to perfection. You do not want the messed ups and the modified ones and if you do not have or want to put serious money on the table, the fully restored ones are not the ones, but this one is all there in perfect original condition. If you get this baby with a very little work, you can have a perfectly restored car of your own and save yourselves tens of thousands of $$. I have seen fully restored ones going close to $30K. Do your research and ask questions if you like. I will respond to all e-mails. If you want additional photos, please send me your e-mail address and I will try to get them to you. Oh, by the way, there is nothing wrong with the hood, I just forgot to close it while I was taking photos, I usualy have the trickle charger connection and that is why the hood is cracked open a little bit.
