1979 Triple Black Epilog edition VW Beetle Convertible-One of the last 1979 convertibles model off the line from Germany, VIN #1592044103 Date of issue is 2/1980. Only one epilog was allowed per dealer. A rare classic and great restoration project. Original Owner RUNS GREAT JUST HAD TOTAL TUNEUP AND HAD THE FOLLOWING DONE NEW BATTERYREBUILT CARBORATORNEW GAS TANKNEW FUEL TANK SENDING UNITNEW ELECTRIC FUEL PUMPBRAKE LINES BLED AND BRAKE DRUMS ROTATEDNEW FAN BELTNEW DISTRIBUTOR CAP AND ROTORALL GUAGE BUT ODOMETER WORK (SEE BELOW) Fuel injection replaced with carburetor Rust is a factor (see photos)WILL NEED NEW PAINTFloor pans and under structure are in good shape Interior is all original and it tip top shape.
