Please note, this car has not been driven for several years and will need towed or trailered. I know someone will ask if it can be driven , no. That being said, I'm selling my old VW. I bought this car in late '04 and drove it until '07 . A coolant leak ,[ a hose or freeze plug rusting] , caused it to be parked. I put the battery in my lawnmower. Anyway, time flies and here it is . It was in my garage for a number of years and most recently outside. With snow coming , it needs a new home. I bought this car in Virgina and it has been not exposed to much Pa road salt. As the pictures will attest. Assume you are buying a nice project with only one rust spot that I see , the pass. side rear wheel opening. The tires are bad , I sure the gas tank needs drained etc....... But , the car is nice and well kept, great interior . Of course the headliner is crap , they started to fall down the day they were sold. The engine has not been started for 3 yrs. but did not smoke and ran fine at that time. OEM wheels and original spare tire and tools . No radio, it was junk and I tossed it. Transmission has Redline synthetic oil and shifts "like a Honda". These are great handling cars that get 35 mpg. easy to work on and parts are cheap. Great project for a classic VW person. Hard to find a body as nice as this one in the north. Located in Indiana Pa 15701
