The Carfax shows two owners but it’s been registered to the same Malibu owner from new). It is clean and in good condition all over, inside and out. While these are great family cars, this one has not done “kids” duty and has been a local commuter car. The driver’s leather seat doesn’t show the typical wear or cracks and is excellent. All of the accessories work correctly, the air is cold and the heater is hot. Books and manuals, spare tire, tools and 2 keys included. The paint and body is nice with typical road chips and flaws for its age. The glass is all good except for a small semicircular crack that starts and ends in the upper driver’s corner of the windshield – it will not propagate further having run its course from edge to edge. You can see this windshield crack pretty clearly in the photo and I have not replaced the windshield because the crack it is quite innocuous - and I’m pretty picky. Mechanically it’s in great shape too. All of the fluids are fresh and clean and there are no leaks at all. Recent services within the last 2500 miles or less include: oil and filter, coolant and brake flush, spark plugs and air filter. The engine starts and runs very smooth, the transmission operates perfectly and the brakes strong.….. the discs and pads look fine. Tires: 4 matching Pirelli’s with uniform wear at 50%+ tread depth remaining all around (See photo). There are no check engine or service lights illuminated at all. Suspension is great and there are no squeaks or rattles……….a very tight car that drives beautifully as you’d expect of a late model one owner Volvo that has a lot of life left in it. This is a great car that I’d be happy to drive across country tomorrow….rain, snow or shine. Happy Bidding.
